2005 was a good year for
TRIDENT. The high price of oil and gas has resulted in an economic
boom for the oil and gas industries resulting in spending for
new projects as well as upgrades and expansion of existing plants.
Additionally, TRIDENT's excellent reputation for providing IT
Services resulted in several major long-term contracts.
The AUTODYNAMICSTM Simulation Division completed several large
simulator contracts in the Middle East; one at a major refinery
expansion and another for a first-time Gas-to-Liquids project.
Additionally, TRIDENT completed a large fertilizer contract
in the Far East with our partner in Milan, Italy, APCTech S.p.A.
AUTODYNAMICSTM completed the migration of our simulator technology
to Microsoft Windows architecture utilizing Microsoft's Developer
Studio as the basis of our software architecture.
TRIDENT also added a sales office in Bangkok, Thailand to support
the growing market in the Far East.
TRIDENT's Services Division continued to expand in 2005. A
regional office was established in Northern Virginia to place
an emphasis on the federal government market as well as to continue
the expansion in the Mid-Atlantic States. This effort has led
to a number of contracts with several government agencies. Another
sales office was opened in Houston to support both divisions
in the Gulf Coast.
2006 should be a strong year for TRIDENT as we continue to
focus on client satisfaction and creative solutions to our customers'
problems.
