2008 was a year of change at TRIDENT. In July we announced that the AUTODYNAMICSTM Simulation Division, including all assets and technology, was being acquired by RSI Simon Inc., an IFP Group Company. The acquisition was completed in November; and the transition was completed very quickly. Autodynamics and RSI are very complementary and the combination has created the best-in-class technology and services.
TRIDENT’s IT Division continued it services offering, and successfully launched a very challenging IT project which required an extraordinary response time. Not only did the client perceive a higher level of service, but saved themselves significant money through the use of TRIDENT.
TRIDENT increased its services offering with Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI), especially in the federal sector. We see this as an excellent growth area for TRIDENT and SGI in the Multi-Vendor Service area.
TRIDENT also was certified by IBM as an Authorized IBM Partner furthering our ability to provide our clients with a single point of service.
With the downturn in the economy, we see many companies turning to TRIDENT for cost-effective services, yet find out that their service level is much higher than with the OEM. For those companies looking to reduce costs for their computer maintenance programs, yet obtain better service, TRIDENT is perceived as a Welcome Alternative.
We expect 2009 to be a most challenging year; however we are well positioned to be equally as successful as we were in 2008.
