Cisco Maintenance Services


Cisco Systems Smartnet is a bundling of four critical service components Customers need in order to maximize their Cisco networking equipment. These four "pillars of support" are software maintenance, advanced replacement, CCO access and Technical Assistance (TAC).s included:  

SMARTnet - SMARTnet offers customers with unlimited access to Cisco's Technical Assistance Center (TAC), a 1 year subscription to Cisco Connection Online (CCO), Software updates and next business day advance replacement of hardware. User documentation is also included in the form of one paper copy, along with a quantity of CD's equal to the number of chassis under support. Each Cisco product must be registered under Cisco support agreement in order to qualify for this service.

SMARTnet Enhanced 8x5x4 - SMARTnet Enhanced offers customers with unlimited access to Cisco's Technical Assistance Center (TAC), a 1 year subscription to Cisco Connection Online (CCO), Software updates and same business day replacement of hardware. (4 Hour) User documentation is also included in the form of one paper copy, along with a quantity of CDís equal to the number of chassisí under support. Each Cisco product must be registered under Cisco support agreement in order to qualify for this service.

SMARTnet Premium 24x7x4 - - SMARTnet Premium 24x7x4 provides all the same basic services as SMARTnet but offers replacement of hardware at your site within 4 hours. All services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Each Cisco product must be registered under Cisco support agreement in order to qualify for this service.

SMARTnet Onsite - - SMARTnet Onsite provides all the same basic services as SMARTnet but offers Next Business Day advanced replacement of hardware at your site by a Cisco Trained Systems Engineer. Each Cisco product must be registered under Cisco support agreement in order to qualify for this service.

Advanced Replacement - - Advance Replacement covers a single Cisco product and entitles the customer with next-business day advance replacement service. Advance Replacement comes with a 1 year subscription to CCO and a single technical support incident. Each Cisco product must be registered under Cisco support agreement in order to qualify for this service.

Cisco Extend - - Extend lengthens the manufacturer warranty by a full year. The warranty extension covers a single Cisco product and entitles customers to 12 months of Return to Factory warranty.

Cisco ExpertAccess - - ExpertAccess offers customer prepaid access to the TAC. Each ExpertAccess package offers customers 3 technical service incidents and a 1 year subscription to CCO.

Multi-Year SMARTnet - MultiYear SMARTnet provides customers with the ability to cover Cisco products for 3-year terms as opposed to the traditional one year term. All of the same services apply, although they are sold at a discounted rate from the one year list price.

Install & Configuration - Install plus configuration offers low end installation and configuration for all products Category 4 and below
