Fault Management Service

Fault management service provides proactive fault management for devices which support the Simple Network Management Protocol, located at our Customer Support Center. A permanent connection to the network allows the center to perform constant monitoring of the network devices under our care to assure they function as designed. Monthly reports give you information about the performance of your network and vendors.

Our unique network management tools register traps and alarms generated by the SNMP-manageable devices. When a trouble condition occurs, a fault-correlated message is provided to the engineer to improve speed of response and increase staff productivity. Trident will even act as your agent for problems that are the responsibility of other vendors, including the tracking of those problems. Trident's single point of contact will reduce the number of interfaces your staff must manage when resolving data problems.

Configuration Recovery and Management Service

Configuration Recovery and Management provides a configuration storage and change service for a flat fee each month. A network management engineer performs minor network configuration changes at your request. On a weekly basis, the network management system retrieves active configurations of contracted devices and stores the most recent configurations for the last four weeks. In the event of the loss of a device or its configuration, you can request replacement of the configuration from the network management center. The engineer will load the stored configuration onto the device or its replacement and verify successful completion.

Performance Management Service

Network Performance Management is a service that provides customers with a monthly analysis of the network performance using the SNMP data collected. SNMP data collection with performance analysis provides additional support by monitoring network events, trending the monthly data and then using optimization techniques to help with the performance of the wide area network.

When the Performance Analyst recommendations require on-site services or LAN diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve performance issues, these services can be performed by the customer or the services can be contracted and performed by the Trident Network Consulting Group.

Resolution Management Service

Resolution Management provides a single point of contact for ongoing network support. It includes trouble isolation and problem resolution.
